Every Caterer Should Avoid Making These Five Mistakes

Everybody makes errors in Their jobs. Everything you have to do is learn from the mistakes you create and proceed.

"The definition of Insanity is repeating the exact same mistake again and again and expecting a different result."

There are 5 ways to prevent Havoc on your catering job.

1) The first error every bride makes is not adding the gratuity and other taxes to the bill. It is not so bad for customers who have an account of just $50. It's much worse, however, for clients with a tax of $500. You need to discuss the gratuity and other taxes with your client before they agree to anything.

2) The timing is quite important. You don't want the food there too early or too late. You need to go over with your customer when the time should be. You don't need the food to spoil, do you really?

3) You need to include other options in your menu. Some people are gluten-free. Some of us are vegetarian. Some are lactose-intolerant. You put your client and yourself at risk when you forget to add alternatives on the menu. Someone may come after you in a lawsuit over food that has gluten. 1 little mistake can destroy your business.

4) You need to have an estimate of how many men and women are going to be there. A good rule of thumb is to include an extra 2-5 individuals to the final count. That way you don't overestimate or underestimate the food that you want.

5) You need to know what is in the meals. You Can't afford to have any surprises With your clientele. One little mistake can cost you tens of thousands of dollars. E.g. https://caterers-in-gettysburg-pa-26.webself.net/.
